Bearing Witness - Christian Aid

Here at Christian Aid we are gearing up for the Bearing Witness event taking place in Manchester on Saturday, 1 October.

On the eve of the Conservative party conference, we are arranging an inspiring day of campaigning and worship on the issues of climate change and global poverty. Supporters of Christian Aid, Cafod and Tearfund are joining together to call on the government to fulfil its promise to be the greenest ever.

We would love you to join us.

Come along to hear from inspirational speakers and discuss important global issues during an afternoon of workshops and talks, before listening to overseas partners at a special ecumenical service in Manchester Cathedral.

After the service we will form a procession through the city centre to the conference venue, where we will hold a vigil and stand in solidarity with the world’s poor, who are already suffering first and worst from the effects of a changing climate.
