The Noise Volunteering

It was great to see just under 200 leaders from around 70 different churches from around the city at the Bristol Region Leaders morning and Noise Launch with Pete Greig on 9th February. Talks from the morning and evening are available on the Noise website – www.thenoise.org.uk/audio2 .

Full details of the communities that we are working in during The Noise 2012 are on our website.  This year we are looking to get 1000 volunteers involved.

We just wanted to let you know that volunteer registrations for ‘The Noise 2012’ are now being taken and volunteers can sign up online at www.thenoise.org.uk/registration or by paper format. We would be grateful if you would encourage people in your congregations or organisations to take part in a day or more of The Noise weekend (5th-7th May 2012). We often find that teams come from churches to serve in some of the urban estate communities in Bristol to ‘catch a vision’ of what could happen in their own communities.

Different ways of signing up

We can send you a batch of registration forms if you haven’t already received some in the post, please just contact The Noise Office by responding to this email.

•    Sign up as an individual – Early bird price of £5 before March 18th (£7 after this date)
•    Sign up as a family team (primary school aged children with one parent/carer per 3 children) – adult price is same as above and £2 per child
•    Sign up as youth group – same price as an adult.

We will always make sure that volunteers are with some people from their own church congregation.

Promo DVD

Copies of the Noise promo DVD (which can viewed on the Noise website) are available. If you wish to embed the DVD clip into your website or facebook group/page, then please use  this one - http://vimeo.com/36185644.

Also attached is a powerpoint slide which can be used in your Sunday notices.

We look forward to partnering with churches across the Bristol region as we continue to show God’s love in practical ways.
