The Mix this Sunday (3rd July) and into September

Just a little note to remind you that this Sunday 3rd July is our next Mix event. The theme for July is 'How to make the most out of your summer'. Over the summer, we can take a bit of a break from everything - including our walk with God! We'll be joined by the Mix panel who will be discussing some of the different ways that they connect with God and grow in their faith. And as always, we'll be led in worship by our Mix band. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
There will be no Mix event in August due to the summer holidays so the date of the next Mix event will be September 4th 2011, where we'll be joined by guest speaker Philip Jinadu.

Important information about the Mix from September

As you may now know, plans for the Mix will change in September. The Mix will stay on the first Sunday of the month and continues to be held at Woodlands Christian Centre. However, the Mix service will now take place at the earlier time of 5pm until 6:30pm.
In addition to the main Mix event, we are excited to be introducing a brand new 'Mix afterhours' which will run from 6:30 onwards in the Woodlands Crypt. At afterhours, your young people can expect:
- A cafe-style vibe with the chance to hang out with friends, have a bite to eat and drink and mull over the Mix / life in general
- The opportunity to talk to / quiz the evening's speaker(s) in our 'Going Deeper' room and carry on exploring what God might be saying
- The chance to socialise and network with other Christian young people from across the city through chat and games
- To enjoy some great live events over the course of the year, including local bands on our afterhours stage
You and your youth group are very welcome to stay for afterhours for as long as you fancy, or if it would suit your group better to head home a little earlier, that's fine too. We appreciate that a lot of groups travel a considerable distance on a school night and may find an earlier time more convenient for returning their young people!
