With your support we can help more women like Livi to build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. You can donate online by clicking the image above, send a cheque to the Grosvenor Centre or ask for a standing order form.
In the last month, the drop-in team have helped four homeless women to move from the chaos of the streets to a safe, supported home with the healthcare they desperately need.
Recent developments include: a new weekly craft session, pottery (show above), a  reflexology clinic and popular ‘taster’ sessions run by occupational therapy     students. As one woman said: “It’s something apart from the life that we lead…something healthy and enjoyable”. If you have any skills you can offer then email: .. Livi's Story

‘I met One25 after running away from a violent relationship and becoming homeless and addicted. I was in a really, really dark place. One of the girls said come along to One25 and at least you can get a hot meal. What you can expect is a lot more than a hot meal: it’s a friendly face; we’re safe and if someone out there attacks you, they’ve got the power to help you. They never judge you.

‘They’ve supported me in everything: a change of clothes, somewhere to have a wash, food at Christmas. There’s homeopathy, therapies - everything right there. When I was most vulnerable I was there every day. Now I still come twice a week, including on Mondays for a pottery class. I’m housed now too thanks to One25 and I’ve been off drugs for eight months.

‘I’ve got some good friends now. I’m at college studying counselling, I’m in a stable relationship and I’m in touch with my family again. It’s all very much down to One25 - I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for them’

“I pray for your van, just to get off the street for ten minutes, to have a warm drink and to see someone who really cares for me”
Our outreach volunteers do an amazing job, supporting 220 women trapped on the streets to find new hope. Even the little things count, as one woman said last week: “When you eat these sandwiches, you can feel the love!”

Naomi House
All the mums at Naomi House are free from both illegal and prescribed drugs: a fantastic success! One mum was  joyfully reunited with her      toddler: “It means  everything to know that we can spend the rest of our lives  together. Now I have the right training, I’ll do everything to make sure she has the best future I can give her.”

Save the date for the One25 Charity Auction 2011!
Building on the success of last year’s auction (with over 50 great prizes and that delicious 2 course meal), we are having another auction dinner in time for picking up some unusual Christmas gifts. It will once again be at Woodlands Church(on Belgrave Road) and it takes place on

Saturday 19th November 2011.
Our ‘Apprentice’-style initiative, the 'Directors Challenge' was launched in March with great success. Natwest and the Collegeof Law raised over £2,000 in their challenges, and said ‘We loved it. We all had such a good day and it was a real team-building experience.' HBOS, Lloyds and CM Group are some of the businesses we have lined up for the next few months. One25 wins awards!
In December 2010, One25 was announced as the
winner of the Guardian Charity Awards 2010 for its social welfare impact on disadvantaged groups! We received national press coverage, a much-needed £6000 and a new short film, which you can view by clicking the image above. Thanks to your votes, we also won Bristol's Natwest Community Fund in December, which was a wonderful affirmation to volunteers, staff and most importantly the women we serve. Thank you!
