April has been a month of plenty with Alabaré receiving three awards commending our work with homeless and vulnerable people, and recognising our ongoing work as an Investor in People.

Bristol Homes for Veterans opens its doors
One of the two houses composing Alabaré’s Bristol Home for Veterans project, held an open day on 20th April giving alabere1local organisations and associations an opportunity to meet the residents, chat to staff and see the house. Local residents and businesses were also invited and given the chance to see the work Alabaré does behind the scenes. The project is a supported housing programme for ex-service personnel who are homeless and have a range of support needs and is funded by ABF – The Soldiers Charity, RAF Association, The Merchant Venturers and The Grocer’s Charity.

Celebrating 10 years of Investing in People
Alabaré has been congratulated by the Managing Director of Investors in People South West, for being continuously recognised as an Investor in People for over a decade. A certificate and personal letter has been received complimenting Alabaré over its “fantastic achievement”. The recognition demonstrates Alabaré’s ongoing dedication to people and a commitment to continuous business improvement.

Thank you and please continue to help us  make a difference
We are proud of the awards we’ve received and hope you will share in our pride because your support has been vital in helping us make a difference in people’s lives.  Our projects have been recognised for the impact they have – and we at Alabaré recognise the importance of your support: without your donations many aspects of our work and support would not be possible.  Please continue to support us in our work and tell others about us.  Would you also consider leaving Alabaré a legacy?  Leaving a donation to Alabaré in your will can make a huge difference to us and our service users. Bequeathing a gift can be done when making a new will or by adding a codicil to an existing will. When looking at either option, do take professional advice from a qualified solicitor and talk it through with your family and friends so that they are aware of your intentions.  For more information about leaving a gift to Alabaré, please call Tony Richmond on 01722 322929 or email .
