New Generation Music Newsletter - June 2011

What a fantastic month May has been!  We have seen lives completely changed by the power of God as we ministered to them in various places throughout the UK.  We have seen God’s amazing provision in ‘The Prodigals’.  We have a little bit still to go, but there are two trusts considering giving support – do pray with us that we hear soon if they are able to give.  We have seen our work in schools, prisons and local community work increase.  We are hearing right now about incredible things happening with our teams in Africa!  We continue to thank God for all he is doing in and through ngm.  Thank you too for your part – without your prayers, your love and care, your financial giving etc., our work would be much more difficult!  May God bless you abundantly for partnering with us.
We are hungry here in ngm!  Hungry to know the Lord’s deep presence with us more and more.  Hungry to sense much more of his love and grace in our lives and so eager to pass it on to those we meet.  Let’s all remain hungry for the one who is altogether AMAZING!  What a joy it is to know him......with our love – RAY AND NANCY GOUDIE x

June 2011
Last month saw Nancy and the team travel to Scotland for the Glasgow Spiritual Health Day at the Marriott HotelThis was an incredible day soaked in the presence of God!  We had ladies travel across many parts of the U.K (including London, Preston, Aberdeen, Dundee) to attend the event, and we experienced amazing worship and teaching.  Our bursary fund was such a key resource which allowed a number of ladies from different backgrounds and situations to attend for free and to hear God’s truth.  During the day so many shared with Nancy how the day for them had been ‘life changing’.  The ‘Revolution’ event at night was also fantastic!  We prayed and celebrated the many stories we heard of the amazing work that God is doing right now in Scotland.  What a privilege it was to be a part of what God is doing at this time in Scotland. What an exciting time it is for the church in Scotland! There is a new fresh sense of his people uniting together to reach the lost and the broken.

The Prodigals musical is continuing to be such an exciting journey of faith!  Last month we were given a further £10,000 and another £5,000 towards the project.  We also hosted auditions in London with over 200 people attending, and we are now at the stage of confirming the lead roles.  Next month there will be rehearsals in London for the staff, cast and crew.  Please do come see the show in Edinburgh during 3rd-29th August at The Gilded Balloon, tickets go on sale on 9th June – to purchase tickets go to   www.gildedballoon.co.uk/.  Thank you so much for your continued prayer and support.  Our God is so faithful; we continue to put our trust in Him for all we need for this project.
Josh has had a very difficult month with the effects of the treatment.  His latest results from the scan have shown some gradual healing though.  The lymphomas which had grown on his liver and spleen have partially gone his liver. He now has 5 months of chemotherapy left.  Do pray specifically for Josh that he will experience God’s supernatural peace and healing touch each day and for his family and friends, too that they will know God’s presence in greater measure.
We now have 60 bookings for our Boot Camp Summer School.  Dates are 31st July to the 6th August!  As a team we are really looking forward to all that God is going to do during this week!  It will be packed with arts training; teaching and worship; a talent show and much more!  If you know of any 13-19 year olds that enjoy singing, dancing, DJing; presenting, and we have one space left for a bass player in one our bands, then contact our office on 01454 414880  and MJ can take bookings.  The price for the week is £269 and includes all food, accommodation and arts training.
