NGM has a history of training artists and seeing them released into all that God has for them.  Over the years people who have trained at NGM have gone into television presenting, bands and acts in the music scene around the UK, DJ’s travelling all round the world playing in clubs and writing music for games, films etc.  More recently one of our artists toured with the musical ‘Fame’, another with ‘Thriller Live’, one has just graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and 3 of those trained through NGM were in the band who played at the Royal wedding!!  We also have trained numerous artists and worship leaders who have gone on to work within churches too.  With a wealth of experience in developing artists and also mentoring and discipling them to help them prepare for the pressures they will face, if you are a young artist aged 17 to 25 then this is a great place to be!

See yourself as the next JLS, Take That or similar?  new generation music is looking for RAW TALENT!  Singers and dancers wanted for an exciting new boy/girl band collective PLUS new opportunities for solo artists.  This is a unique opportunity for you to be developed as an artist. Come and spend two years being part of a buzzing creative arts community that has a growing portfolio of releasing artists into the music, media and theatre industries.  This is an opportunity not to be missed!  See below for more information.

Release Dance Crew part of NGM based in Bristol. Release have been going for two years now and have a passion to reach young people through dance and music. They are committed to sharing their lives and faith to make a difference, investing in young people  Release are recruiting for dancers to come and train with them so they can be part of NGM’s expanding street dance crew! They've collaborated with NGM's Boot Camp course to bring a whole new dimension to our crew training. You will be learning technique in various street styles, ballet and contemporary as well as taking part in regular fitness sessions and NGM's Christian discipleship course.  In joining the Release: Plug-In course, you'll train for a year alongside Release and accompany the crew to gigs and workshops, as well as being evaluated every few months. At the end of the year, you may be given the chance to join Release as a full time crew member, depending on the standard reached.  This opportunity is for dancers aged 17-25 years who are serious about dancing in a street crew and changing culture for the better.

NGM is putting together a new band and are looking for a bass player, drummer, lead vocalist / guitarist and keyboard player to come and complete the line up.  For years now NGM has put together bands who have worked through the clubs and pubs as well as bands who have been committed to worship.  The direction the band takes will be up to you!  We are looking for individuals who want to pursue excellence in their artform and develop in their walk with God.  The band will help to facilitate NGM’s work in schools, clubs, pubs, young offenders institutes and help facilitate worship at NGM’s meetings. See below for more information.

For musicians and singers mentioned above -  

You will receive hands on development as a band or as an individual artist including: regular sessions in our recording studios, performance evaluations, opportunities to work with experienced producers and songwriters, choreography input (bands /collective), vocal coaching and instrument lessons (where appropriate), training in communication skills, one-off masterclasses with artists already working in the industry, full-on mentoring and discipleship.  Year one will be all about honing your raw talent! Opportunities to perform in local schools and at local and national events will also be possible depending on the speed of your development.  If appropriate and in your second year, and at NGM’s discretion, there will be an opportunity to sign with an agent and gain further experience in performing.  After two years you will have the option of auditioning for a production company who can help position you to be released into the industry.
