Hope you had a good summer. Here's the news of events local and beyond.
New Juniors Group
On Thursday 22nd September at 7:30 pm we are launching a CMF junior doctor's gathering in Bristol. Our hope is that it will be an
opportunity for Christian junior doctors in and around Bristol to gather for fellowship, food and fun. The first group will take
place on this date but may change in future depending on what date suits most people. For details of venue please contact Andrea
either by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (07773089900). Hope you can make it along. Everyone is welcome. Please pass
this on to any juniors you might know.
The next meeting (encouraging Christians in health care from all over the County) is on Saturday October 1st in Prestbury - the

Psychiatry Day Conference
Saturday October 1st at Johnson House in London from 09.45. Anxiety is the theme and includes teaching sessions by two excellent
Christian psychiatrists, Pablo Martinez and Chris Williams, well known for their work and teaching in this area and whose books
and articles have brought help and healing to many people, as well as helping Christian doctors worldwide to deal effectively
and compassionately with these disabling conditions. See Flyer for more details.
Part Time Partnership in Bristol – Easton Family Practice We are looking for a part time (6 sessions) Partner to participate in
the future development of our practice. We are currently three partners (reducing to two in January 2012), one Salaried GP and
two Retainer Doctors working from a modern PCT owned health centre. We pride ourselves on providing high quality accessible care
to our ethnically diverse population of 5,000 patients. • PMS practice with consistently high QOF scores •
Teaching and training practice • Chronic Disease Management led by nurse prescribers The post is vacant from 16th January
2012. Start date to be agreed. Partnership with immediate parity will be offered after a six month period of mutual assessment.
