Ethical finance day

Dear people of faith in Bristol


Many thanks to all of you who attended our interfaith picnic, it was a really great day with some interesting discussions.

Now it is time for action.

We are organising an ethical finance day on the second of December.

We are calling a national day of action and asking the people of the UK to move their money out of high street banks into their local credit union.

A credit union is owned and controlled by its members and if you put your money in a credit union its used to lend money to people just like you, not to make profits for shareholders or pay fat bonuses.

We invite all faith groups in Bristol to move both your institutional and personal finances to an ethical institution.

We will be publishing a list of everyone who takes part.

If your organisation already has ethical finance then do let us know and we will note that too.
