Britain - The European capital of broken homes‏

According to newspapers the UK has the “worst record in family breakdown in Europe.”
If this is true, what can the local church do to play its part?
If churches do something as ‘one’ in unity we can reach our nation's families.

New Wine, Alpha, Hillsong, Vineyard, Audacious Manchester, New Frontiers, Care for the Family, Pioneer, Redeemed Church of God and now many other church streams across the country have got together and are launching the National Parenting Initiative. This initiative is also being blessed by the Baptist, Anglican, Catholic and Methodist churches.




Mother's Day

The plan is to launch The National Parenting Initiative on Mothering Sunday 18th March.
The NPI wants to encourage every church in the UK to run a parenting course in 2012.





Is your church running a parenting course this year?

If you think this is something you would like to be involved in, with your church leader’s blessing, or if your church has already planned to run a parenting course then please would you register this on the NPI website before 18th March; the more courses that are running the more likely we are to have both media coverage and government backing. It is all very exciting!  After 18th March people wishing to take a course will be able to visit the site to see if any courses are running near their home.
