ngmNGM News - April

Bookings are still coming in for our Boot Camp Summer School which is from 29th July-4th August 2012 for 13-19 year olds.  We are nearly fully booked with less than 10 places left.   If you know of any teenagers that are interested in coming to ngm to receive mentoring and tuition in either dance, vocals, Djing; presenting or musicianship and would be up for discipleship each morning and evening, then please contact the office on 01454 414880 or email Amy Tucker  - amytucker a_t ngm d_o_t org d_o_t uk. We are really expectant for all that God is going to do in the young people as he pours out his power and love on them, and we know that will many lives will be changed as a result.

Things are going well with The Prodigals! There are a number of exciting new developments that are on the way – and we will let you know all the gen next month – but please do continue to pray for this exciting adventure!  Pray for Ray and his team as they plan, strategise and seek the way ahead.

There are so many exciting things happening in ngm at present – our prison work is expanding at an amazing rate – please do remember Leon and his team as they faithfully go into the prisons each week and also pray for the prisoners who regularly come to our complex to be trained too. Release, our street dance crew are seeing some incredible things happening wherever they go – their recent trip to Nottingham was full of God encounters.  Nancy has just spoken at Yatton (Esther was singing too) and was excited to see and hear of people being impacted by the message of Hope.  The Bean Baker band have been out and about too seeing God move through them.  Exciting!  We also are hearing very exciting stories of what Dan Goudie and Ross Burr are doing in the clubs – they performed to 3,000 people in a club in Bristol recently and their music is causing quite a stir getting thousands of hits per day! Thank you for your prayers for everything that we do in ngm!

This month we say a sad farewell to Esther Howgill who joined us two and a half years ago as a vocals student on the Boot Camp Course and within the past years has become a vocals tutor, part of the musical productions and travelled with Nancy singing at various churches.  Esther will be getting married this August and will be auditioning for musical theatre over the next month.  We pray that Esther will know God’s peace during this busy year of transition and we wish her all the best in God’s calling.
