Dear Friends,

Bristol City of Sanctuary invites you to join us for the launch of our fantastic new initiative, Schools and Colleges of Sanctuary, which will be held at at City Academy Bristol, from 4:30-7:30 on the 27th of September 2012.

A School or College of Sanctuary is an establishment that is proud to be a place of welcome for sanctuary seekers. It is a place that actively works to promote positive attitudes about people seeking sanctuary, both within the school/college and the wider community.

This event will recognise and celebrate those schools already working towards the Schools and Colleges of Sanctuary status, whilst also encouraging others to join. There will be a variety of exciting performances, speakers and presentations by schools, all coming together to officially launch Schools and Colleges of Sanctuary, and we would be honoured if you would be there with us.
