How will your church reach out to your community this Christmas?

Christmas can often be an fitting time to reach out to your local community. Yet, sometimes it can be difficult to find innovative ways to let people know that Christmas truly starts with carolersChrist… but it doesn’t have to be! Why not consider encouraging your church to participate in this year’s Guinness World record carol singing attempt and invite members from your local community along too?

Last year almost 200 churches from across the UK and beyond got involved smashing the existing world record!

“Lots of people who would have never come to church came today and heard the Gospel” said Sue, Carol Service Coordinator from Shrewsbury.

To make the most of this outreach opportunity, we are also encouraging churches to consider hosting an Alpha course of a Christianity Explored course to start in January. This is a great, practical way to enable newcomers to the faith to find out more about Christianity but can also serve as a useful refresher for Christians too!
