The Noise 2013: 100 Days of Prayer
Last year, for the first time, we started a ‘100 Days of Prayer’ in the lead up to The Noise weekend. This gave us an opportunity to take some time to pray for our city, for specific communities and projects, and also for The Noise weekend itself. It was massively encouraging to know so many people were covering all of this in prayer. And yes, it definitely made a difference!
So, on 24th January we’re going to be starting another ‘100 Days of Prayer’, giving us all an opportunity to get stuck in to praying regularly and relevantly.
‘The Noise’ is more than just a 3 day weekend in May (4th-6th) of projects and activities – local church and Christians are living and working, building relationships, and being a part of community all year round. We want to be praying into these communities, and for the people in them, asking God what is on His heart, what He sees, and be praying together in this.
This is more than just a list a prayer requests – this is something that has the potential to transform us and our communities in ways above and beyond our expectations. Let’s see what God has in store…
