'The Noise 2013' (4th-6th May)

This year will be the 12th year running that Christians from all over Bristol, and beyond, will join the local church in showing God's love in practical ways across the city. In 2013, 'The Noise' will be working with the communities of Barton Hill, Horfield, Lawrence Weston, Lockleaze, Manor Farm, Southmead, Sea Mills, Shirehampton and Upper Horfield.
Full details of how we will be serving these communities can be found under 'The Weekend' on our newly launched website.
Keep in touch and keep praying for urban estate communities around Bristol.
Have a great week!

Volunteers

Last year, we had 870 volunteers involved and this year we would like to get 1000 volunteers from across as many churches and groups as possible. The new website is now live (www.thenoise.org.uk) and you can now register as a volunteer for one or more days of the Noise weekend (4-6th May). You can register as an individual, youth group or family team. Offline registration forms are also downloadable on the registration page. Pay only £5 to register as a volunteer before April 14th and then £10 afterwards, so make the most of the early bird price.

Social Media

The Noise website will be updated regularly as we confirm details or follow us on facebook or twitter. If you are going share thoughts or experiences about The Noise on twitter, then why not use hashtag - #thenoise2013 - so we can all follow.
We are also hoping to blog more regularly and share stories of projects that happen throughout the year. Please check out two recent blogs about a team from Lloyds TSB working in Sea Mills and students from Orchard School in Horfield who are both doing regular Noise projects.
