The Global Justice Collaborafé

When: Weds 20 February 2013, 7-9pm
Where: Beatroot Cafe (Upper Park Row, Bristol, BS1 5BN; www.beatroot.org)

Oxfam are joining together with FareShare and many other charities to host the first Collaborafé in February - an event where we get together in a cafe in central Bristol to learn about global justice issues, discuss and share views and take action to help make a better world.

Our collaborative campaigning event  in February is on Food Justice. Oxfam will be showing a film about the food system and sharing the global story; FareShare will be talking about what happens on a local level and how this connects to the overall food system. We'll have dialogue, activities and a chance for everyone to take some positive action against hunger.

The event should be educational, engaging, inspiring, social, creative and fun.

The Collaborafé is happening on Weds 20 February, 7-9pm at the Beatroot Cafe  (Upper Park Row, Bristol, BS1 5BN; www.beatroot.org). There will be homemade soup at a discount price of £2.50, drinks from £1 and possibly other treats available courtesy of local shops 'waste' food of the day!
