This month sees the launch of Ray's new musical, 'The Prodigals', in Coventry.  We are really excited about this 5 star rated show.  Check out all the up to date news at www.theprodigalsmusical.com

Like Joseph, it is a Biblical story set in modern times, an ideal show for you, your friends and family.  We have people coming from all over the UK.  For those who are living far away, many of them are coming to see the matinee performances which enables them to get home that evening.

Imagine the greatest short story ever told about unconditional love and acceptance being shown in theatres all over the UK?  If we get the support at Coventry, and the right people interested in the show, then this is a real possibility.

Here are a few other ways you can also help Ray and his musical:

We have a Prodigals
facebook page, and a Prodigals event on facebook (Links below) – you can 'like' these groups, and join them.  With the event, you can also invite your friends to it as well.  ON EACH OF THESE PAGES THERE ARE COMPETITIONS THAT WE RUN, SO IF YOU JOIN, YOU CAN BE IN WITH A CHANCE OF WINNING PRODIGALS PRIZES!

Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/146782382191187/

If you are on
twitter – you can follow us @theprodigals.

As with all social media, the more likes, comments etc we get, the further up the listings we go and the more credibility it builds so please do all you can to help.

If you view youtube – you can catch up with our daily blogs from the rehearsal room, and see our new music videos – the channel is called ‘theprodigalsmusical’.

We also have leaflets and a PowerPoint to use to advertise at your church or event.  Call Zoe on 01454 414880 or email .

Any other help you can give us would be much appreciated.  It is an ideal show to bring coach loads to – it’s easily accessible with car park and coach station next door, train station a short walk away – and matinee performances too.

Thank you so much for all your help!
Yours,
Nancy Goudie and all at ngm

Simon Bowman has now been cast as the Father/Colonel.  Simon has played lead in Les Mis, The Phantom and many other West End shows.  He was also one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's top 4 Phantoms for the Royal Variety Performance.

The Prodigals is a fast-moving, highly-energised new musical which began life at the Edinburgh Festival and now begins a new life at the Belgrade.

Colonel Luke Gibson is proud to lead the Scottish regiment his family has served in for generations. The two sons he has brought up alone are now young men; while Captain Mike Gibson battles to destroy opium poppy fields in Afghanistan, his brother Kyle fuels his bands gigs with heroin.

When Kyle hits rock bottom, can he return home to the community he has insulted and rejected? How will his brother respond to his needs? Will Colonel Gibson balance his love for two such different sons with his responsibilities to all the soldiers under his command?

From its explosive choreographic opening on patrol in Helmand Province, through the comic absurdities of Kyles drug-induced hallucinations, The Prodigals drives this extraordinary tale on with stunning new music and dance and a script that challenges us to explore the toughest of emotional battlegrounds.
