The Sleep Out 2014 Success!

We would like to express our deepest thanks to everybody involved in the 'Supporting the Homeless' Sleep Out this year. It was a tremendous success, and, with the help and cooperation of all volunteers and sleepers, it all went perfectly smoothly.

Despite the recent downpours, the grass was not too waterlogged to use and it did not rain, and wasn't too cold either, during the night. A real miracle for this time of year!

A total of 150 people slept out from 11 different organisations that work in the homeless sector. At present, the total figure raised across these organisations stands at a massive £20,000! This figure is likely to rise significantly over the next few weeks. A really fantastic effort!

Thank you again if you took part or volunteered to make the event a success. It's so important to raise the profile of homelessness so we are extremely grateful that you added your voice to the cause. Bring on The Sleep Out 2015!!
