Two special performances

Join us this Saturday 13th and Saturday 20th December for two special family Nativity plays.
Whitchurch Primary School will be performing their fun version of the traditional Christmas story called "The Bossy King" this Saturday at 2:30pm in our Ark Arena.
Popular local youth theatre group Portishead Young Players are bringing you "The Nativity: An Animals' Tail" on Saturday 20th Dec at 2:30pm, a retelling of the birth of Jesus through the eyes of the animals we all know and love from the nativity scene.
The two performances are free, included in standard admission tickets.
The park is open as usual on both Saturdays, the nativity shows are popular so doors to the Ark Arena will open at 2pm for you to take your seats.

Three's NOT a crowd! Elephants get comfy together at nap time

Buta shows her maternal instincts

We're delighted to say that our growing herd of elephants is doing very well with newest addition, 6 year old M'Changa, settling in comfortably with 30 year old Buta and 9 year old Janu.
Our Keepers were pleased to see exciting natural sleeping behaviours on our 24 hour CCTV cameras – protective Buta watching over youngsters Janu and M'Changa whilst they slept on our comfy sand floor, before taking a nap herself with them. It seems three is not a crowd after all..!
