The Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Clare Campion-Smith, opened the proceedings and cut the ribbon to a new paved pathway in our garden which will allow wheelchair access to the pond area.

This work was completed by employees of Lloyds Bank, Bristol, who visited us on one of their volunteer days and undertook painting and a mural landscape of Bristol. Her worship the Mayor chatted individually to members of the charity much to their delight.

A buffet lunch was provided, the desserts kindly provided by Alice Lawrence and friends. Musical entertainment and a word for the day was provided by Phil Lawrence and his group.

Hand-produced gifts made by our talented members and staff, together with a certificate, was given to our guests and those that attend the day-centre.
