The Noise 2016

It's the start of 2016 and Bristol Noise continues to grow...
Our values are still to 'serve community', 'build unity' and 'encourage discipleship’ as we show God's love in practical ways in urban estate communities in Bristol.
The Noise 2016 weekend is: Saturday 30th April - Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, and we are looking forward to sharing more detail over the next few months.

Here are some highlights of what has been happening since last May -

thenoise16 1The Noise 2015 weekend statistics - 920 volunteers, from over 70 different churches/groups, worked in 10 communities in North and East Bristol. 400 of these volunteers were a part of a Family Team or Youth Group Team! Over 100 community projects were completed. 7 (mostly dry!) family fun afternoons. 5 different events for senior citizens. 3 football coaching and tournament events. Plus, family photos, a community cafe, car washing, prayer teams, and more...

thenoise16 2The Noise in Devizes - A team from Devizes, Wiltshire, took part in the Noise weekend in Bristol last year. It was so encouraging to see the first ever 'The Noise in Devizes' take place on 3/4 October 2015, with over 100 volunteers working to help improve the environment, serve their neighbours and have lots of fun together! Check out their website here for more details and photos.

thenoise16 3The Noise throughout the year - We are seeing more church small groups and youth groups take on practical community projects that are referred to us throughout the year. It’s great to be able to facilitate and encourage this. It’s also been good to see our partnerships with community and statuary organisations across the city strengthen and develop more.

thenoise16 4The Noise Interns - Rachel Coles and Joe Pavey are our first Noise interns! We are excited to have them as part of the team, to use their gifts, and see how this new development will enable Bristol Noise to grow and impact the city.

To enable Bristol Noise charity to continue to grow, we need your support in volunteering, prayer and financially. Check out some suggestions below of how you can help and get involved! Please also look out for the Noise Thunderclap on social media and get involved in helping us launch #thenoise2016 on 8th February.

Thanks for your support!

Promo videos, powerpoints, volunteer registration flyers, video interviews will all be available over the next few months to raise the profile of The Noise 2016 in your church.
