Good News Academy Launched

Do you want your whole community to hear about your church positively, quickly and for free?

A GOOD NEWS Academy (GNA) has been launched to help local churches get their positive stories to people in their communities.

The new practical workshop training seminars will equip vicars, ministers and leaders and their congregations to find, write and publish their church's exciting stories.
PR expert, publicist and journalist Shane Dean will run the fun one-hour seminars across the region and regularly in his home church - the inspiring 400-strong St Paul's Church in Weston super Mare.

The stories on Vicar Andrew Alden and congregation have appeared in a wide range of media (see example below) including front page of the Western Daily Press, Bristol Post, Weston Mercury, BBC Radio as well as Sky News, ITV, The Metro, Sun and the Telegraph. 

Shane said: "This is an easy but powerful way to let people know you are around. Churches are crammed full of exciting positive good news stories and often don't realise it!
"These simple seminar workshops aim to extract all the hidden stories and train Christians up to get them out. You don't need any special skill - just a positive attitude and enthusiasm to the Good News heard by people outside of the church."
