Mentoring-FB-Image 400

When: Monday 26th November, 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Where: The Kitchen @ The Station, Bristol YMCA, Silver Street, BS1 2AG

VolTrain is for volunteer youth workers in Bristol and includes practical workshops on key areas of working with young people.

This session will give you an introduction to mentoring young people. You will learn about the different stages in a mentoring relationship, and the practicalities, responsibilities and boundaries necessary to act as a mentor to young people.

Led by Dan Potter. Dan leads a community youth initiative targeting ‘hard to reach’ young people.  He runs training and supervision sessions for youth projects and youth workers around the South West and beyond.

To book your place, please email atkinsons@bristol-baptist.ac.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 21st November.
