Book now for BUILDING BRISTOL: A CITY OF HOPE 10TH JUNE (Social Action Morning Conference)

A CITY OF HOPE’ is an event that will bring together Christians from all over Bristol to explore how we can most effectively work in partnership to support our city's critical and complex needs.

As we look forward as a city-wide church, we recognise that addressing the city’s critical needs requires us to work more collaboratively and strategically.

With the ongoing pressure of the ‘Cost-of-Living Crisis’, compounding existing issues and inequalities, this is a call to reflect and also to look forward and commit to justice, unity, and partnership, together and with the city.

We are inviting individuals, organisations/charities and Bristol churches to come together to be inspired and to develop more effective ways of working.

The event will be an opportunity to hear from local contributors working in key areas, including Homelessness, Mental Health, Diversity, Refugees/Asylum Seekers and more. And there will also be opportunities for to meet others and network, alongside a keynote contribution from Dr Krish Kandiah of the Sanctuary Foundation.
We’re seeking to make this as diverse an event as possible. If you are a church leader, we would encourage you to bring a member of your younger or more diverse team.

We’ve a range of workshops available, all led by passion people with on the ground experience.
  • Addiction & Substance Abuse
  • Environment & Climate Change

  • How to Mobilise Your Church Into Social Justice
  • Mental Health & Well-being
