To all of our wonderful supporters
Thank you
We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our supporters who have come with us into the year 2025! It is only with your prayer, support and generosity that we are able to do the work that we do.
A look back on the last few monthsWe had the opportunity to share at the Bristol Homelessness Forum and were able to make new connections while there. It's great to have such unity in Bristol amongst agencies and know we are all doing our bit to make a difference.
Our wellbeing trips included taking a group of women away at the beginning of February to a Christian women's day conference followed by a wellbeing spa day the next day.
In March, we had the privilege of attending the ballet with some women and took a group to a National Trust property. These are outings that give the women we support the chance to experience something new and 'lift their gaze' from being in the brothels and all the trauma that brings.
We also had the pleasure of taking 4 women to a flower farm and are planning on continuing to bring groups there over the coming months. Everyone had a great time out in nature, therapy for the soul!
Story
We've had the pleasure of connecting with a new lady this month! She got our number from another lady that was working online. When she reached out, she wanted to share some of her bad experiences and seek advice. More than anything, though, she was looking for someone to talk to and gain a bit of emotional support. We met up with her and chatted through a safety checklist and legal advice. She was thrilled to pass along the information and advice we gave her to other ladies in her work network. It's heartwarming to see how our efforts are making a positive impact - sometimes even on those we don't directly hear from. Word of mouth is a powerful thing!
Easter Celebrations
Easter was a lovely time where we were able to spread love and lovely gift baskets with the women to make sure they felt loved and seen during a holiday that can often leave people feeling lonely.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of partnering churches and all of the volunteers who gave their time and energy into creating such lovely easter baskets that blessed the women! Because of you, we were able to collect 14 hampers, 30 Easter eggs and 29 beautifully hand-crocheted flowers, as well as many other generous gifts to hand out.
*If you would like to gather some people to donate and pack up these type of bags, please contact Melissa.
Wellbeing & Practical Support
We continue to run a reflective therapy group every other week, giving space to be creative together and reflect.
We do monthly wellbeing days which has proven to create great conversation and help women to relax, have new experiences and feel cared for.
We continue to offer practical advice and support to the women one-to-one.
VOLUNTEERS
We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers who give generously of their time, energy, skills and compassion.
Your dedication - week - after week - makes such a powerful difference in the lives of the women we support.
We are thrilled to share that just this past month, we've had the privilege of training 13 new volunteers. What a joy to see our community grow with such passionate and caring individuals.
Together we are creating a network of kindness, dignity and hope - and we are so grateful you're a part of it.

We are excited to now have a researcher in place to begin finding out what the women would like from us support wise going forward! This will help us better serve the women we are in contact with as continue to become more informed about how we can best support, encourage and love the ladies we are in contact with.
Coming Up
We are part of an event with Stewardship in London alongside Resorted and the Kyria Network! We are so looking forward to being able to share information and stories about what Beloved does and the way we make an impact.

We would love to see you there!
We have Encounter Camp coming up from 30 June - 4 July!
This camp is a trauma-informed, conference geared towards people with life-altering struggles. It consists of 5 days of worship, teaching, art and activities and is an amazing people where people build connections and feel included. For a lot of the women who attend this camp, it is their first experience with Christianity! Many in the past have gone from this camp to then build further relationships with other churches!
Please be joining us in prayer in the lead up to and during this camp period!
Heartfelt Thank You!
As the new financial year begins we want to say thank you to all the individuals, churches, businesses and grant funders for supporting women in the indoor sex industry this last financial year whether through financial or practical donations, voluntarily giving their time or through prayer. This support made a genuine difference to women in the indoor sex industry - some of whom made life changing steps in the year of moving into new homes and jobs. A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Beloved.
United in Prayer
We warmly invite you to come together to lift up the women in our city in prayer. Together we can make a difference through the power of prayer and unity. Everyone is welcome.
