Invest in the Wider Wellbeing of Christians in Media Today
Dear Roger Allen,
A couple of months ago, we shared our vision for
Wellbeing Groups
- safe, online spaces where Christians working across media can reflect, connect and support one another through the unique pressures of this industry.
We’ve had some encouraging interest since then - thank you to those who reached out - but as yet, no one has confirmed they would like to begin the training to lead a group.
We’re still hopeful. But without a few volunteers to step forward and train as group leaders, we won’t be able to offer this vital support to our wider community.
We’re partnering with
Kintsugi Hope
to equip and train our leaders. If you have a heart for encouraging others, some experience leading or facilitating small groups and are open to running a group online, this could be for you.
We’ll cover the full cost of the training and we’ll walk with you every step of the way.
Could you be one of the first to make this happen?
If you're interested - or just want to explore what’s involved - email us:
hello a_t christiansinmedia d_o_t co d_o_t uk
with the following details and we'd love to chat more with you.
Your name and a short intro about who you are
Your connection to media and Christians in Media
Why you’d like to lead a Wellbeing Group
Any relevant experience (e.g. leading small groups, pastoral care, mentoring, etc.)
Your availability to complete training and lead an online group
Whether you have an active DBS registered with the DBS Update Service
_________
Following initial discussion, two references:
One pastoral reference (e.g. from your church leader)
One professional reference (e.g. line manager, client, or colleague)
You’d be playing a part in building something restorative and powerful for Christians in media — something we believe is very much needed right now.
With thanks and hope
The CiM team
