Last month saw the long-awaited Srcokret Fest 2025 take place in Primosten, Croatia.
Srcokret means 'turning of the heart' and is the name of the organisation, which is youth-led. Srcokret has brought together young people from across the Balkans to various events over several years.
Some of our partners were at Srcokret Fest and took on various roles. TEN partners Josipa and Vjeko Mrsic (pictured) of Good News Church Split in Croatia shared a little snippet of their experience and what you can pray for.
Srcokret Fest was the first Christian youth festival for all the young people aged 13 to 30 years old from ex ex-Yugoslav countries (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro). It was amazing to see 1,300 people worshipping Jesus from different backgrounds, denominations and nationalities.
We were involved in helping the workshops run well. There were about sixty different workshops in the mornings. Please pray for all the young people who were part of the festival to continue to grow in their faith and influence in the Balkans.

We're delighted to be expanding our passionate team and are now looking for a Senior Finance and Operations Manager to join us. Could you join us and help continue our story?
We’re looking for someone who’s excited by the opportunity to join us in transforming lives across Eastern Europe and the Balkans through compassion, evangelism, and church planting. The successful candidate will manage and develop the financial, data and operations side of our organisation.
It is essential that the post holder is in full sympathy with the aims and goals of TEN. To that end, he or she must be a committed Christian.
If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Moira Ruff as soon as possible. The application deadline is Friday 5th September (date inclusive). Interviews will be held on Monday 15th September.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with other Christians who you believe may be interested and suitable for the role. |

Our dear friends and TEN partners, Srdjan and Ruth Vorotovic (pictured below) lead Kotor Evangelical Church in Montenegro. Here is an encouraging story from them of the Holy Spirit at work.
One morning as we set off for our prayer walk, we asked God to bring us into contact with someone hungry for Him. We took a different route than normal and at the recreation ground, we saw a lady seated on a bench. We walked over an introduced ourselves. The lady was so friendly and wanted to know more about what we did.
When we told her she became so excited and expressed her desire to study the Bible with us. She told us she was reading the Bible together with her husband. We welcomed the lady to join us for Bible studies and Sunday worship services and on Thursday that week, she joined us at our Bible study.
I received a message from the lady afterwards, 'I thank God for the conversation with you, my new friends, that I really needed... I have a spiritual sister, a Protestant. I am sure that she prayed for me and the Lord to send you to me. I had a great evening. I thank God and you, friends! My husband, daughter and grandson thank you for the gifts.' The gifts we gave the lady were a Bible, a teenage Bible and a shoebox.
Praise God for His goodness in guiding Srdjan and Ruth to this lady and her family. Pray for the lady, her husband and their wider family as they discover God who loves them dearly.

Attention all in Northern Ireland – Dusan Beredi (Bera), our partner from Protestant Christian Fellowship Novi Sad in Serbia, has been invited to speak at Bangor Worldwide next month, as part of celebrating 60 years of the ministry of TEN.
Bera came to Christ when he was twenty and was freed from alcoholism. Today, he leads Protestant Christian Fellowship and is Programme Director of Rainbow Rehabilitation Centre for drug addicts.
Bera and Mira (pictured) will join James Vaughton in Bangor. On Sunday 17th August they will be at Mt Pottinger Presbyterian Church in Belfast. On Monday 18th Bera will speak at the convention and will join people there on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Bera will then speak at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Bangor on Sunday 24th August.

If you are Northern Ireland we’d love you to come and hear Bera speak about the church's pioneering ministry in Serbia, which transforms lives.
Bera writes:
Dear friends, thank you for your support—we’re looking forward to seeing you in Northern Ireland. We deeply appreciate everything TEN does for us, and we’re eager to strengthen our partnership, as well as to develop new friendships and collaborations.
As we serve those who are broken—addicts, the homeless—we are expanding the influence of God’s Kingdom in Serbia. In this mission, every friendship and partnership is truly precious.

Thank you so much for your support. We hope you are encouraged and inspired - you really make a difference.
Be blessed!
The TEN team.
