We had an amazing time at our recent Leadership at the Threshold event in Oxford. Paul and Sarah Williams led us in deep thought provoking sessions which helped us to reflect on the revolutionary landscape we are in, the need to feel the weight of holy urgency and the necessity to be countercultural by resting in God as we lead.
Watch some of the highlights here and keep an eye on our social media channels for more reflections and learnings from the day.
Stories and experiences shared by unity leaders and ministry leaders helped us discern what God is teaching us about Leadership at this Threshold moment.
The videos of the sessions will be available on our website Resources page and our YouTube channel soon. |

Oxford Community Church
In an age marked by division, distrust, and uncertainty, the Church is called to embody the central truth of the Christian faith: God is One.
From this eternal oneness of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we are invited into a relationship of loving unity — a unity that transforms how we live, serve, and hope.
We are not here to mirror the fragmentation of our cultural moment but to bring change and renewal through the love and truth of Christ. Our communities do not need more division or distrust; they need good and loving neighbours. They need churches that work together, coordinate services, and bring tangible hope for the future.
The Gather National Summit is an important moment, a time to come together, to build transformative relationships, and to tell stories of hope that inspire faith in our towns and cities.
As we gather, may our unity become a living testimony, a visible sign that the God who is One is still at work, drawing His people into oneness with Himself and with one another for the healing of our nation.

Honouring the City Builders: Do you know where Baruch son of Zebbai has got to?
The book of Nehemiah is an overflowing treasure chest for those engaged in city building. We see the prayer and anguish of Nehemiah when he hears about the state of his city. We might share that anguish as we look at the growing hatred and institutional poverty in our cities.
A key element of the Nehemiah story is the way he inspires and leads hundreds of city builders. More than that he names them, he honors their contribution as singers, Levites, Priests and wall builders. For 2,500 years people have been reading Nehemiah and celebrating those who stood with him – not just the leaders but those who literally got their hands dirty rebuilding their city. |

Manchester 2026 ICCT Gathering & The Launch of Intercultural City/Communities Ambassadors
At Gather Movement, we believe in the power of relational unity to bring whole city transformation. That’s why we are delighted to be partnering with the Intercultural Church and City Transformation (ICCT) Gathering as they prepare for their next national event in Manchester, 5–6 February 2026 at GoChurch MediaCityUK.
Following on from Leeds (2024) and London (2025), the Manchester Gathering will bring together networks, churches, and leaders who are passionate about seeing the Church reflect the cultural diversity of our towns, cities, and communities. Together we will explore what it means for unity and cultural diversity to strengthen mission, discipleship, and community renewal.
