Transform Work February 2026 Newsletter

As we continue into this New Year, may I ask you a question: how is your confidence?

The Bible says: "Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward” (Heb 10:35).

The writer was addressing Christians who had endured hardships because they had a confidence greater than their circumstances: to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way (v19-20). This was the context for the writer’s well known exhortation:

"Let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another..” (V24-25).

Friends, this is the heart-beat of Transform Work: to see Christians acting out their faith in their workplaces, with boldness and collaboration, towards love and good deeds that declare the Good News. Why not read Hebrews 10 together with your workplace group and let the Holy Spirit fire you up again in your mission to love and transform your workplace together? Work to grow and act out that confidence together.

This month’s newsletter gives you and your group much to fuel your confidence. We have all been hugely encouraged by the Songs of Praise Faith in the workplace broadcast on our national TV, seeing Christians bringing their faith into work in a variety of settings, and elevating what God is doing in the marketplace onto a new public platform. Why not watch it as a group and pray into how you can apply what you see modelled there?

February 2026 also sees a unique double: Lent and Ramadan starting on the same day. We need to be equipped (and also courageous) to initiate friendship and dialogue with our Muslim colleagues: read down to see a great resource we have provided to help you with that mental preparation. And speaking of preparation (which is so important for the growth mindset we are called to have), we provide some ideas to help you and your group get Easter ready.

And let’s be encouraged by the bigger picture. 2026 is already feeling like a page has turned for us in Transform Work and God’s mission to the workplace. Just as never before have we been asked to contribute to a BBC programme, we have never before been invited to contribute to Spring Harvest, one of the leading gatherings of evangelical Christians in the UK. What a great opportunity this will be to accelerate vision in British churches. Make 2026 be the year that your own church really gets behind this mission: use the church workplace ministry resource page on our website to get started! And allow yourself to be personally renewed and reawakened as you read David’s thought provoking article that we also feature this month. And what personal God-spot might you share with a colleague today, listen to Andy’s reflection - 'Lindisfarne'.

"He is God of every moment. He is Lord of all eternity"

To GREAT confidence in 2026

With our love

It was wonderful to see Transform Work featured prominently on BBC's Songs of Praise in the "Faith in the Workplace" episode, a shining moment that celebrated Christian faith thriving in everyday jobs.

Aired on January 18, 2026, the Cambridge-based program highlighted how believers integrate their faith into offices, labs, and police patrols, bringing national visibility to Christians transforming workplaces nationwide. Read more about it here

We are living in a decisive moment; one that calls for spiritual alertness from the Church and from every individual believer.

This is a time to be fully engaged in our Father’s business: seeing lives transformed and people brought into the knowledge of truth. David Issacc Arinze expands on this theme in this compelling article.

Lent and Ramadan? - a Christian Workplace Group response

1457968

There is a lot of talk in workplaces at the moment around fasting and prayer as two world religions kick off their mighty fasts, Lent and Ramadan, on the same day this year, Tuesday 17th February.

This is a great opportunity for Christian Workplace Groups, especially those who are part of their organisation's multi/interfaith forum, to share what Lent is and why some Christians observe Lent. Read more here.

Easter Ideas

"What have fluffy bunnies, chocolate eggs and a man dying on a cross got to do with Easter?"

No it’s not the start of a crazy joke… it’s an actual comment that a Christian Workplace Group leader was asked by their colleague whilst working at their desk.

Would you know how to respond in this situation? What an opportunity to share why Jesus of Nazareth died on a cross and how we know He came back to life three days later? The answer for this particular leader was meet with HR to receive formal permission to run an education course all staff about Christian faith. The course they chose was called Alpha.
